What are the 2026 Chevrolet Blazer trim levels?
The 2026 Blazer is available in three trims: 2LT ($34,300), 3LT ($39,700), and RS ($43,600). The Premier trim from 2025 has been discontinued. All trims offer the choice of front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive.
What happened to the Blazer Premier trim for 2026?
Chevrolet discontinued the Premier trim for the 2026 model year. Many of the Premier's features have been redistributed — the RS now picks up most of the premium content, and two new optional packages (Enhanced Convenience and Driver Confidence II) allow RS buyers to add the luxury features that were previously bundled into the Premier.
What is the towing capacity of the 2026 Chevrolet Blazer?
The 2026 Blazer tows up to 4,500 pounds when equipped with the 3.6L V6 and AWD. The 2.0L Turbo with AWD and the available trailering package achieves up to 3,250 pounds. FWD models without the trailering package are rated at 1,500 pounds. The trailering package includes Hitch Guidance, Hitch View camera, and heavy-duty cooling.
What is the fuel economy of the 2026 Blazer?
With the 2.0L Turbo and FWD, the Blazer achieves 22 city / 29 highway / 25 combined MPG. With AWD, that adjusts to 22/27/24. The 3.6L V6 with FWD returns 19/26/22, and with AWD it achieves 18/26/21. The turbo four-cylinder offers a 3–4 MPG advantage in combined driving over the V6.
Is the 2026 Blazer good for South Dakota winters?
With available AWD and the Snow/Ice drive mode, the Blazer handles South Dakota winter conditions well. The twin-clutch AWD system actively distributes torque to the wheels with the most grip. Ground clearance ranges from 7.5 to 7.6 inches depending on trim. Cold-weather features include heated front seats on every trim, an available heated steering wheel (standard on RS), remote vehicle start, and rear window defogger.
What colors is the 2026 Blazer available in?
The 2026 Blazer is available in six exterior colors: Habanero Orange, Summit White (LT only), Black, Riptide Blue Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat (extra cost), and Sterling Gray Metallic. The RS includes a standard black two-tone roof with all colors except Black. Interior options include Jet Black/Medium Gray cloth on the 2LT, Jet Black leather-appointed on the 3LT, and Jet Black with Red Accents or Jet Black/Nightshift Blue leather-appointed on the RS.
What safety features come standard on the 2026 Blazer?
Every 2026 Blazer includes Chevy Safety Assist (Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, and IntelliBeam headlamps). New for 2026, the Driver Confidence Package is now standard on both the 2LT and 3LT, adding Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Park Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. The RS offers the optional Driver Confidence II Package with HD Surround Vision, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Safety Alert Seat.
